Texas Dinosaurs

Lots of things have happened since our last blog post. If you follow us on social media, you’ve been catching a glimpse of all the behind the scenes happenings. Which by the way, if you haven’t done so yet, please follow us on Instagram and Facebook page for all the action.

So, finally after almost 3 months of waiting, our first Walking Dinosaur landed in Houston. Our first arrival is our baby T-rex named Rocket. We have been spending a lot of time getting to know him. It’s amazing how big this dinosaur is in person, not to mention, how incredible the detailed craftsmanship invested in all his features. Truly amazing! That being said, we are excited to finally have Rocket in Houston.

And, here’s breaking news! Our second Dinosaur, Razor The Raptor has just landed. Pics have been posted which can be seen on facebook so go on and check them out.

We are also very excited to announce that Jurassic Extreme will be making a debut this Saturday in Angleton, Tx. It is for a Dinosaur themed birthday party for a happy five year old. And, next Friday we head to the George R. Brown  convention for the I-SWEEP, The International Sustainable World (Energy, Engineering, and Environment) Project , science fair organized by  Harmony Public Schools. We are super excited for both events and can’t wait to get these big boys out their cages.

Well folks, that is it for now. Please be sure to connect with us on social media and leave us any comment/question you may have. Stay tuned for more dinosaur news!

Jurassic Extreme Dinosaurs

Wondering what exactly are our walking dinosaurs?

Let’s talk dinosaurs. We provide top of the line of Walking Dinosaur Costumes in Houston. Only a few dinosaurs of this kind exist in the USA and most of them are older models. We have brought a new generation of walking dinosaurs to the great city of Houston. Coined as the energy capital of the world, we are poised and excited to bring the “Jurassic” energy onto this city.

The total production time takes approximately 25-40 days. These dinosaur making connoisseurs invest their time and creativity into perfecting every detail of the dinosaurs. Their rubber, reptile-skin tone provides an authentic dimension to their stature. With astonishing, blinking eyes reminiscent of a modern day, living dinosaur known as the alligator. Yup! An alligator. I bet you didn’t know that alligators are considered living dinosaurs by many scientists. WIth full motion head and leg movement, we are sure these walking dinosaurs will take you back to the Jurassic Era.

Experience them live at your next event or catch them making surprise, public appearances at various locations around the city. Razor and Rocket love people, so please be sure to stop them and say hello. We look forward to it.

To best describe this experience, it’s been a thrilling roller-coaster ride with many twists and turns. And, yes, a few subdued inner screams along the way. From international dealings with China (never dealt with them before) to shipping delays due to the current strikes in California; it’s been keeping us on edge but the unexpected is what makes any journey worthwhile. After all, if every new passionate idea was easy, everybody would be doing it, right?

The whole Jurassic Extreme team can’t express how excited we are. We are just as excited as you are to see them in person and experience their awesomeness. My son Max Leon keeps reminding me of Rocket’s arrival. He is super excited and I can’t blame him. It’s been great sharing the same joy and excitement with him. Truly an amazing Father and Son experience.
